Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? What exactly is the problem? Are you saying that after the Lollipop update, the phone is powering off randomly? Have you tried a factory reset first, before taking it to the repair shop?

Google has no control over what manufacturers do with their phones. That's like asking why Microsoft doesn't take care of Sony laptops whose batteries keep catching on fire.
