    I bought a refurb LS670 online. It looks good, but won't power up. I put it on the charger and then the screen started flashing "LG" once a second. After 8 hour charge, the phone is still in the same condition.

    The phone has shown only one other indication of status: when I removed battery and plugged in charger, phone displayed "battery required" graphic.

    Can the phone be salvaged, am a missing something, or should I just return it to the seller for a refund?

    Solved the problem: hoping that there was just a problem with the battery, took the unit to BatteriesPlus, where they tested it out and somehow got the battery to take a charge. They told me that li-ion batteries sometimes get stuck in a discharged condition.
