Why aren't videos playing on my S5 but are just showing as thumbnails?

videos not playing on s5 but showing as thumbnails.

My s5 suddenly isn't allowing me to play videos or send my pictures .also some pictures are coming grey. I'm scared to remove my micro sd card incase I lose everything.is their some way to save my media. And play my videos .A app maybe.

Welcome to Android Central! If those photos and videos are saved to the microSD card, then getting them out of the phone and off the card as soon as you can is probably the best thing to do, since the card might get progressively corrupted. Unmount the card (in Settings>Storage), remove it, and insert it into your computer's SD reader. Use Windows Explorer--can it read the card? If so, back everything up now to the hard drive.
