Why does my phone say emergency calls only???

phone is saying emergency calls only and has been for a few days. I have full bars, with telstra, I've tried reinserting the sim into another phone and still didn't work. Ive rebooted the the phone and restarted it but still no luck. Help!!

You might have a bad SIM card or it's not making good contact inside. Try removing/reinserting it. If still no go, try getting a new SIM. I am, of course, assuming you paid your bill and still have active service.
