Why is my Nexus 5 charging so slow?

Nexus 5 charging is so slow...

My nexus 5 is taking so long to charge completely i.e 5 hours after upgrading to lollipop.. is this happening with everyone? do u have any solution for this?

I think clearing cache will fix this issue, along with any other you might be having. Otherwise, I'd suggest trying a different power source or charger. Let us know how it goes.

Try charging with the phone turned off. With the phone turned on, the current going to charge the battery is the normal charging current minus the current the phone is using. With a new update, the phone is going to be using a lot of current for a time, until everything stabilizes.
