Can I get my Samsung Galaxy Tab S screen replaced under a manufactures warranty?

samsung galaxy tab s warranty help??

so I bought my samsung galaxy tab s (10.5) on december 15th(less than 60 ddays ago) and today the screen was accidentally cracked. it actually looks more like the internal screen was cracked, as there is a bright blue line going through the middle under the screen. anyways, now the tablet's screen will not turn on but the lights on the bottom and all the buttona seem to be working fine. I didnt get a paid warranty/insurance on this but is there any rule or anything that can help me get my tablet replaced? it hasnt even been 2 months since the purchase.

Welcome to Android Central! That may end up being a judgment call, because if there's any hint of external damage, they might say the crack was due to accidental damage rather than defective workmanship, and therefore deny the claim. If the tablet is completely pristine other than the crack, they might cover it under warranty.
