How can I use Bluetooth from minitek intermittent to pair my hearing aid to my TV?

I am trying to use a minitek to bluetooth my galaxy s4 mini phone and tv to my hearing aids but the connection keeps cutting out. The wifi connection is also intermittent so there could be competition or interference. The tv does use the wifi so is there a way to use both and resolve the problem?

Welcome to Android Central! Wi-fi and Bluetooth can sometimes interfere with each other, but I'm not sure under what circumstances. If you have a dual-band router, try using the 5 GHz band for wi-fi instead of 2.4 GHz, because Bluetooth uses 2.4 GHz as well.
