Lately (past 2-3 days) my battery has been draining insanely. I've had this phone (S4) for about 7 months now and have never experienced a drainage until these past 3 days. I have downloaded any new apps or anything of that nature. I always have my screen brightness on the lowest setting and I also always have power saving mode on. I've tried fixing all the settings - and nothing! I believe it to be the recent update, but I'm not sure. Should I buy a new battery? Or are there actual solutions to fix this? Currently it's 7:20 a.m. and my battery is at 43%; I woke up at 7 a.m. and it was at 59%.

You could try wiping your cache.

It my be that an app is misbehaving due to a problem with a cached file.

Try this method for rebooting into recovery to clear the cache partition: http://forums.androidcentral.com/sam...2-s3-tab2.html

    Follow the S3 method.
