Lollipop looks very different on a Nexus 4 Factory Rest

Hey all - my Nexus 5 is all but dead and I am using my wife's old Nexus 4 until I can get a new phone.

I did a factory reset on her Nexus 4 (which had 5.0.1 before reset) and after it wiped everything and rebooted it looks completely different.

Some parts of 5.0.1 are there like the new notification area but the homescreens are left over from KitKat - meaning there are 5 homes screens and you can't delete them - there is a bar across the bottom of the home screens instead of the dots etc....quite a few subtle differences....

Is 5.0.1 different on a Nexus 4 then it is on a Nexus 5?

Re: Lollipop looks very different on a Nexus 4 Factory Rest

Welcome to Android Central! I can't remember--is the stock launcher on the Nexus 4 the Google Now Launcher? Because it may be that the N4's stock launcher is separate from the Google Now Launcher (which is the stock launcher on the N5). So when you did the factory reset, it reverted to the stock Launcher.
