Factory Reset protection in Lollipop

Hello..

I've read some information state that mobiles come with lollipop are Factory reset protected by username and password!

Anyone tells how to activate it?

I haven't heard of that, but someone here mentioned recently an app you can install that prevents unwanted resets, either by the device or the user. Sorry I can't recall more.
