I have replaced my digitizer for my Galaxy S4 i337 four times with no problem. On my fifth time things have not worked for me. I bought two more digitizers because I am clumsy. Both do not work on my motherboard. The sound, vibration and lights work. Is there a way to see if there is a problem with the motherboard without hooking it up to a known workable digitizer? Thanks! etstiffler

I hooked the cracked screen (I thought the digitizer was broken too) from the sixth digitizer (Correction: I replaced the i337 five times with no problem), and ... "It's alive!!!" I dropped the phone from about six feet while listening to Pandora. My only prediction is the "new digitizers don't work and the port was wiggled out when dropped. I'm too scared to try the "new" ones again. I'll send them back for the money. Any thoughts?

Yes - it's usually cheaper to have a repair shop fix your phone than it is to "fix" it yourself.
