Guys, my android's keyboard disappeared. I can't type a text message, a url address or anything that requires using a keyboard. I couldn't even google anything. Does anyone know what could possibly be wrong and how to fix it? I should probably add, I tried restarting the phone, but nothing changed...

First take a look in settings - apps - all tab. Scroll down until you find Google keyboard and tap on it. Maybe it's just disabled. If it's not there look for it in the disabled / turned off tab and enable it back.

You can always download a different keyboard from the Play Store. Since you can't type to search it can take a little while until you find one. The best way could be going to "shop apps", categories, productivity. One of the first ones will be Swipe. Tap on it. It's a paid app, but don't worry, read on. Scroll down to similar apps and you'll see free keyboards there (swipe demo, SwiftKey ...). Install one and set it as default until you get your stock keyboard back.
