Why does my G S4 say insert sd card and now some of my pics are gone?

why my gs4 says "insert sd card" and now some of my pics are gone

also how do i get those pics back,i already check the auto backup but the pics that are missing aren't there??????

Sounds like the card is bad. Use a card reader plugged into your PC (with the card plugged into the card reader). Download PhotoRec. Burn it to a disk. Boot the computer from the disk. Tell PhotoRec to recover from the card to the hard drive. If there's anything on the card, PhotoRec will recover it.

(If it's a SanDisk card, you can contact their live support at SanDisk microSD Tech Support. [Their cards have a 5 year warranty.] Otherwise, you may or may not get any support.)

Autobackup backs up both directions, so if a picture disappears from the phone, it gets deleted from the backup. Back up manually. Just make sure that you do back up.
