Hello, is it okay to use cover case with magnetic strap on my smartphone?

..in my opinion, it could damage the magnetometer sensor (compass) inside the smartphone.
(I'm just bought Samsung Grand Prime early February)

I really need answer, please help me.

Do you mean book-type or flip-style cases which have a magnetically-secured clasp? Many people use them. I've used them on five devices in all, with no apparent ill effect.
