Why does my tablet give me an error message saying Google Play has quit working?is messed up.

My tablet is messed up.

I have a Trio 10 in tablet. Everytime i get on it and try to do something it says the Google Play has quit working. It wont let me do anything. I have tried to reset it but i seems to keep coming back with time. I have had this tablet for little over a year. it started about the 7 month mark and after numerous times stop playing with it then coming back it seems to continue to do it. I don't know how to fix this problem.

Welcome to Android Central! It might be due to some other app you installed that is causing a conflict. Try booting into Safe Mode, which temporarily disables all 3rd party apps. On most Android devices, while powered on, press and hold Power until the Power Off menu appears. Press and hold the Power Off selection until the Safe Mode prompt appears. Tap OK.

If the problem disappears in Safe Mode, then something you installed is causing the problem. You may have to uninstall apps one by one until the problem disappears. If the problem persists in Safe Mode, then it's more likely to be a hardware or firmware problem.
