I recently did an update to my Galaxy S5 Active, why am I getting error messages?

i recently did an update to my galaxy S5 Active, and now i continue to get the error message

ive noticed that it happens mostly when I go to close all my apps that are open. it will give the error message and when I select ok, half of the home screen goes black and then it will come back up. ive also noticed that my phone is substantially slower since the update as well.

What is the error message you're getting?
You may want to wipe the cache partition since you just updated: https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-5744
Steps should be the same for the S5A
