how can i remove widgets from my hydro kyocera?

I'm having issues with my phone freezing up and not running smoothly. It was recommended I remove widgets, but how!

The normal method is to long-press them, then slide them up to 'Remove', which should appear as you do so. They will then be returned to the widget locker.

Access to the widget locker, should you wish to use those or other widgets again, is normally gained by long-pressing a blank area of a home screen.

However, the problem with your phone may have another cause. Try Settings, Storage, Cached Data, and clear the cache.
