Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 touchscreen

While playing on my tablet today the screen started to randomly jump to applications. It would act as if invisible fingers were touching it all over. Is this a known issue with this tablet. I have tried rebooting it. Nothing seems to be working.

Welcome to Android Central! Is this happening while connected to a charger? Is the tablet near any strong electromagnetic fields (like a big power supply, or a big speaker)? Those can cause phantom touches.

Try booting into Safe Mode, which can tell you if it's a 3rd party app that's causing the problem: Safe Mode Samsung Galaxy Tab S | Verizon Wireless

If the problem persists in Safe Mode, then it may be a hardware failure. Contact Samsung for warranty repair.
