How can I do this with a QI charger and a Nexus 7?

So I have a QI charger and a Nexus 7 2013 with a case. The case has a circular hole in it right where the QI chip, however the case is too thick to have wireless charging. The hole leads directly to the back of the Nexus 7, however it is too small for the QI charger or any QI charger to fit into (the hole is 4 cm in diameter and the smallest QI charger is 5.4 cm). I was wondering if there was any way to make the QI charger extend into the hole, or if anyone has a QI charger smaller than 4 cm.
