having trouble with my LgL39c Optimus cell phone.

Can't get into my downloads or attach a pic to my text. The message for a download is: There was an error contacting the server. Please check your internet connection or try again later. For a text : message delivery failed. I can send a message, but with no attachment (MMS)

Was wondering if I hit a wrong key or shut something off by mistake. Love the phone and this is my first problem. Had the phone for about 7 months now.
Can someone help me. Thanks kim

Sounds as if you have no internet connection. Text doesn't need internet, attaching a message does.

You either have to have a wifi connection that connects to the internet (and you have to be connected to it) or you have to have mobile data enabled.

I accidently locked my cell phone and now I have to swipe screen to get into it I didn't have to do this before yesterday
