AC Question

Hello, I have a Droid DNA (yeah I know it's old) and I just bought it recently because my old phone's system crashed. I haven't had the phone for 36 hours. While I was at work, I was on my phone, and had to help a customer. After they left, got on my phone, and wouldn't turn on. This took an hour to finally come back on to full use. Then it constantly crashed. I have to have a charging source in order for the phone to even turn on. I called a cell repair shop and was told that it could be a motherboard or just as simple as the charge port of the phone. Has anyone else ever had this issue?????? Would love some insight!! Thanks!

Welcome to Android Central! I agree it could be the motherboard, but it could also be a failing battery. I doubt it's the charge port, if the only way to turn it on is to plug it in. Try plugging it into a wall outlet for at least 4-5 hours before trying to turn it on again. If it just doesn't charge up, you'll probably have to bring it to a repair shop.
