How can I get my Moto G to go to the home screen when I open it?

moto g update to lollipop

My Moto G updated to the new 5.0.2 lollipop last night, now when I swipe to open the screen it goes direct to my phone, not my home screen,, how can I change this?I need to find a fix, or I will be dialing a lot of numbers that I don't want to.

After Lollipop things changed a bit. When you're in the lockscreen you can:

- swipe to the right to open the phone app.
- to the left to open the camera.
- swipe up to unlock and go to your homescreen.
- swipe down to expand notification bar and quick settings.
- individual actions for the notifications.
