Why are my wifi connection settings changing?

[AC Question]

I recently configured my wifi and the phone keeps changing the wifi configuration settings. It is a dynamic IP address, but it keeps switching to static and changes the IP address. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Please help!!!
