I bought a Sony tablet last year and it has an annoying habit of popping up a Playstation Store icon on my taskbar. I don't do playstation gaming so am annoyed that this is happening. May have been bundled in with a program or something?
Also I have a repeating system update request - Android 4.0.3 (release5a) - with features I do not think necessary. Would like to get rid of that as well. It states if udated cannot revert to original so I don't want to do it.

Welcome to Android Central! Which tablet do you have? Go to your App Drawer--is there a Playstation app? If so, open the app, then look for a settings icon (or tap Menu, then look for a settings selection). See if there is an option to turn off notifications. If you don't see one, then go to Settings>Apps>All, select the Playstation app, and uncheck the "Show notifications" box.

On pretty much all Android devices, you can't turn off the system update notification unless you root the device and freeze the system updater app.
