I plugged in my phone, no big deal. Ten minutes later, something along the lines "Connected to dock...". Makes the plugged into noise, charges for three seconds, stops. Repeats. I turned off the phone and it would start to charge and then stop again. Then turned itself on and same thing. I took out the battery and put it back in. Stopped booting itself, but still didn't charge properly.

On a side note, I've been getting the "No SIM Card Detected" warning for a couple weeks now.

Welcome to Android Central! Check the microUSB port and make sure there is no debris in there. If it looks clean, it's still possible the port itself might be faulty, so if the problem persists, you might have to bring it to a repair shop.

You can also try a cache partition wipe: http://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-5744
