When I try to add a picture to my texts I get the message "service not activated on network". What is wrong with my phone? I can't copy them to my computer either.

I'd check with your carrier - that's a message from their network. (It could be your APN setting, or it could be that you don't have MMS service on your account - which could be as it's supposed to be, or it could be that they set your account up wrong.)

As far as copying them, if you can't receive them, you can't copy them (because they're not on the phone). If you can't copy pictures that are on the phone, that's a different problem.

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone, and which carrier? Have you already asked your carrier about this? What happens when you try to send the picture text -- do you get an error message?

    Welcome.

It may be that the SMS text is being converted to an MMS, for which you have no credit, or which is not included in your plan.
    Your carrier will advise.

This message means that MMS is not setup on your account. Outside the USA MMS messages are usually charged at a much higher premium than SMS messages and is not usually included with any bundles. Some phones automatically convert long SMS messages to MMS messages and this would face the same block. MMS messages are usually retrieved for free based on how much data you have available. But this doesn't apply to sending them.
