LG G3 lagging very bad after Lollipop update?

[AC Question]

My LG g3 has been lagging incredibly bad since the Lollipop update. I have done some research and found that most people are having to factory reset in order for the lagging to stop. Are there any other options I could try? If not, is there a way to save all of my currents settings and files to an app so they aren't erased forever? Thanks!

You can also disable animations in developer settings to help speed things up.
