I have recordings on my phone I want to transfer to my computer.

Same way you'd transfer them from drive C to drive D - drag and drop.

Plug the phone into the computer and it should (after a minute or so) show up as a new drive. Open it and you'll see 2 folders - Phone and Card (if you have an SD card plugged in, otherwise the Card folder won't be there). Find the song files or, if you want to maintain the Artist->Album->Song structure, the top folder, and drag it to the computer.

(Purchased songs that are copy protected won't copy or, if they copy they won't play.)

Thank you but, its not music I am transferring, its hours of recording a menacing neighbor...
