Welcome to Android Central! Sorry, I'm a little confused--is the email triggering a text message to be sent to you, or is the text message triggering an email?

If you receive a text, the tone for a text will sound. If you receive an email, the tone for an email will sound. The source of the text or the email has no significance. If your company (or department) wants that kind of notification, tell the communications officer to get with the times - the old times. Cellphones aren't pagers. He'll have to go back to Pageboys (or something more modern). The only individual toning you can do on a cellphone is a voice call ringtone.
