S Notes lost after update. How to get them back?

After the recent lollipop update on my Samsung Galaxy Note 3, I seem to have lost ALL of my notes that had been saved on the S Note app. I can't find them in 'all' or 'recent' notes and they don't seem to have been stored anywhere even after I linked the phone to my computer via USB and checked all the files. Is someone please able to help and provide instructions as to how I might be able to get them back?
