Why can't a friend receive my text messages?

My friend can no longer receive my text messages from me. We both have the s5 and we can call each other and i can receive her text.We have restarted our phones,deleted each other from our contacts and added back.We have checked to make sure neither one had the other one blocked.What else can we try? We work together and we communicate alot by texting. Would appreciate any help..thanks

It sounds like a network problem. Are you on Sprint? I used to have dropped texts with them. What kind of phone are you using? If it's an iPhone you may need to sign out of I message and use regular texts.
