    I'm thinking of buying a LG L40 D160 BLACK, here are the specs:

    I mainly interested about the operating system and its core.
    It costs about $65(60€), is it worth the price?

    Welcome to Android Central! Do you mean you're just going to tinker with the phone? It's grossly underpowered by today's standards. 512 MB of RAM is very little, and the 4 GB of internal storage means that only about 1 GB will be available to the user. You won't be able to install apps directly to the SD card, so that doesn't really expand your storage, except for media files. That screen will seem positively blocky if you've used any phone made in the last year or so.
