    Hi guys,
I have been using my sd card for about a year or so annd havent had any problems untill a recent "hot swap".Since then,i cant download, copy, move,or pretty much do anything with the files on it,i can read the files that are on it but cant delete or change them, and when i try to download something it says "not enough space in storage" even though it has almos 1GB of free space. So,i tried formating it on my phone and after formating was complete the files were still there,so i tried formating it on my PC,and after formating it said it empty on my PC,but when i insert it back on my phone, the files were still there,AGAIN.Then i tried formating it on both my PC and phone,on another phone, factory resesting my phone,EVERYTHING,and again,nothing,... At least i can backup my files on my PC,but cant put any on the SD card.

Can someone please explain me was is going on here?
    Thank you

The card is most likely toast. You might be able to track down some tools, but the card is on borrowed time.

You could try running CHKDSK on it. It won't delete any files if they're still on there...worth a shot. Might work long enough for you to move the files elsewhere
