How do I remove the email counter on the mail app?

I want to disable the little green counter on my e-mail app on my HTC One Mini 2 and I simply can't find a way to do it. I've tried everything I can think of byt I know it is possible.

That's normally done by the launcher. If you're running a launcher you installed, look in its settings. (The number is called a badge, so look for something to do with badges.) If you're running the stock launcher, someone with a Mini 2 will have to figure it out for you.
