Why cant I access my storage settings WITH the SD card inserted?????

I can get into every other tab just fine WITH the SD card inserted. I CAN get into the storage settings withOUT the SD card, I have a nobis tablet....Driving me crazy, please help. Wanting to download mine craft but I guess I have to mount it first..??...

Welcome to Android Central! Sorry, it's not entirely clear what you're trying to do. What tabs are you referring to? Are you trying to install Minecraft to the SD card directly? You can't do that--apps have to download and install to Internal Storage. If the device supports moving apps to SD (and not all devices support it), you have to do it after it's installed to Internal Storage. If there isn't enough room on Internal Storage for the initial download/installation, then you can't do it. On top of that, some older devices divide their Internal Storage into a small App Storage partition and a separate "Internal SD" partition, so moving an app to SD might only be possible to that onboard "Internal SD," and not the microSD card.
