Will I be charged on my mobile carrier for texting using Textra?

I just downloaded Textra yesterday, and I got concerned about if I would get charged for texting using it. I don't have unlimited texting on my data plan, so I have to pay $0.20 per message, I think. Will I still have to pay when using Textra to text or is it absolutely 100% free?

As far as I know it works just like the regular messaging app so whatever your plan is applies here as well

As far as you know, Monee, is correct. Textra is just another app to do the same texting with that you do with the stock texting app. Same texts, same price if you pay for texts.
