What is wrong with my LG G3, is it covered under warranty?

I dropped my phone today (LG G3). NO physical damage whatsoever, but the display on it is completely messed up. There are colored lines all on the left side of the screen and like a black bar along almost half the bottom of the screen. The touch screen is still fully functional, but it difficult to read anything on the bottom half on the phone.

I think that that would not be covered by the warranty. The damage was caused by the drop.
