Why are my screenshots appearing as 0kb files to my pc?

I tried backing up my phone today, and realized that some of my screenshots are appearing as 0kb .png files, or empty files to the pc. The files were only ones taken after March 8, and I cannot seem to find a way to make them appear as they do on my phone in Windows Explorer. I am running android 4.0.4 on my HTC One X and running Windows 7 on my pc

Welcome to Android Central! Are you able to find those screenshots using Windows Explorer and drag and drop them manually to the computer's hard drive? If you're using the Import Photos function, I've found it to be somewhat buggy (as well as indiscriminant, since it will import every single image, including thumbnails).

How large are the files on the phone? (ES File Explorer, find the file, long-press it, menu [lower-right corner], Properties.) If they're 0KB on the phone, there's a problem on the phone.
