Dell Venue 8 7000: How do I install or move apps onto SD card?

It's currently running 4.4 KitKat. Is it possible to do this?
If not, will it be possible on Lollipop?

Welcome to Android Central! Not all devices support this function. Go to Settings>Apps, select and app, and see if there is a "Move to SD" button. Check several different apps. If none of them have the button, then the device doesn't support the function (at least, not while unrooted). If you do find an app that can be moved, then be aware that not all apps support being moved, so other apps may not have the button.

If the device doesn't support moving to SD, then upgrading to Lollipop most likely won't bring that function. If you root the device, you should be able to use an app like Link2SD.
