Why are there lines across my screen and I can't see anything on my screen?

why is there lines across my screen and i cant see anything on my screen?

I accidentally dropped it and now It has lines going a crossed it and I cant see my screen at all the power button still works and it turn off but I cant see my screen and I don't know what to do.

The screen (the LCD panel behind the glass) broke. You need a new screen. (Please don't try to replace it yourself. You'll just be back here, telling us that you replaced it but something else doesn't work. By the time you get the phone working again [if you ever do], it'll have cost you a lot more than paying a repair shop to replace the screen.)
