Why is my Samsung Note 2 volume dropping when I plug in my headset?

Samsung note 2 volume problem when headset is plugged

i am using a samsung note 2 and from recent onwards when i plug in my headset after a few minutes the volume drops to zero(mute) that can not be adjusted.anybody know wt can be done about this ?

Sounds like a heat problem in the audio amplifier. That would mean a motherboard replacement. (It could also be caused by a bad headset - have you tried a different one?)
