Why does my samsung galaxy S3 take so long to charge and loose battery so fast?

I own a samsung galaxy S3 and it works very well but sometimes when I charg it, it will take at least 2-3h to get it to almost 80%, and my battery is draining so fast too! Like today, I had my phone, 100% in the morning on my way to school, then I laid my phone in my locker, about lunch time, the battery was 48% WTF?
Someone, plaese help me!

It sounds like a failing battery. Take a look at it....if it's obviously bulging, or if you can lay it on a flat surface and spin it, it's failing; don't leave it in the phone in that condition. But even if flat and undistorted in shape, it may still be failing.
Many of us don't care for our batteries properly. I'm not suggesting that that is so in your case, but if you think that it may just possibly be the case that you have treated your battery less than entirely kindly, check this guide by Rukbat.
