Why does the youtube app turn my internet off?

I'm using the youtube app on my HUDL 2, and around every 4-5 videos, my internet turns off.

I mean I've played continuous multiple youtube videos on my PC, around 20-30 videos daily, and nothing happens. I play spotify and browse the internet on my HUDL and thats fine.

However, I play a few youtube videos on my browser and the internet goes out, everything connected to my router loses internet and I have to reset my router.

I have tried the app on my samsung galaxy and it works fine, I have also uninstalled the app on my HUDL and reinstalled it and it still persists.

Is anyone else having this problem or is my tablet broken?

Welcome to Android Central! That's pretty strange. Does this happen with other apps on the Hudl? What happens if you try to watch a movie using Google Play Movies? Does it cause the same router issue after a while? Wondering if it's an issue with the YouTube app or with the Hudl itself.

Log into the router's settings via your computer browser and see what happens if you turn off the security temporarily.
