It appears it starts with when the unit starts. How do I stop this? I guess I want to change some settings.not sure what additional details until I have some guidance. Under the Clean Master icon it says HOME

I think it slows it down purposely so you will purposely make you run it. I may be right, I may be wrong but I ran it one last time and deleted the app. Feels faster

Uninstall Clean Master. It's a terrible, worthless piece of dukey!

The only thing you should ever do with an app made by Cheetah is uninstall it. The basic idea of Clean Master is to treat the phone as if it's running Windows - which is exactly the opposite of how Android runs. If they don't even understand the phone they're writing apps for, I wouldn't trust them to design the package, let alone the app. One thing you don't want to do with Android is kill apps - Android does that when Android needs them to be killed, and Clean Master can't know when that is. (Their idea is that you want as much free RAM as possible - which is true in Windows. In Android you want as little free RAM as possible. Unused RAM is wasted RAM in Android.)
