Why has Lollop rendered my mobile phone into a corded phone?

A

AC Question

Since installing Lollipop, I have to re-charge roughly every 5 to 7 hours, that is, if I don't use the phone too much. If I put the phone through its paces, I have to re-charge more often.

I've gone through the various forums and have checked data use and battery uses; I have uninstalled apps and re-installed apps. No help.

Since the Lollipop "upgrade" I am pretty much tied to a charging cord -- rendering my "mobile" phone virtually useless.
I can think of no better advertisement for the Apple I-phone, than the installation of
Lillipop.

I even went back to the Verizon store where I purchased the phone, They didn't ha
any suggestions, "although we've been hearing a lot of that lately." But there was nothing that they could do to assist.

Short of turning the phone into an aquarium decoration, what do I do?
