Welcome to Android Central! Did the SIM ever work on this phone? Does it work on other phones? If it doesn't work on other phones, then try getting a new SIM card from the carrier. If it does work on other phones, then I would suspect a faulty phone--after all, it is a clone/knockoff, so there will be a higher chance of defects.
