I recently bought a SanDisk Extreme micro SD card, 32gb for my new Sony Xperia M2. However, when I unmount it and mount it again, I get an error message saying that the "SD card is damaged" and that I should "Try reformatting it". I have reformatted it but the problem still happens when I unmount and mount it. Also, whenever I turn the phone off and on again, the SD card has been unmounted and is damaged again, with the same message.

Go to SanDisk microSD Tech Support and look in the upper right of the page for the live chat. SanDisk doesn't like that happening to their cards, and they'll get you fixed up. (It's why I pay more for a SanDisk card than for something cheaper - they're a great company to deal with.)
