What tablet gives the most bang for your bucks? Budget of 1000 dollars.

I am actually considering buying a iPad Air 2. My current tablet is getting frustratingly slow, and I have never owned a Apple product, so perhaps I'll give them a chance.

But what are the alternatives? What's the fastest Android tablet you can get for a thousand dollars?

The screen should preferably be less than 10 inches, or approximately 10 inches.

Yes. I woudn't consider the fastest Surface due to it's price. But everything up to a thousand dollars is fine. Locally the best iPad Air 2 costs a little less than a thousand, some nine hundred, with local VAT and warranty.

In this comparison, I find the iPad best (I like the screen better and it wins when it comes to the speed surfing the web)
