I did a factory restart and now the phone is stuck on the Samsung logo, how can I move past this?

i did a factory restart and now the phone is stuck on the samsung logo

i did the push the volume power and menu button all together it did something then it got stuck on downloading don't turn off target for while now its back to the samsung logo

What device are you using? You can try the home + power + volume up button combo to boot into recovery mode. Then use the volume buttons to scroll down to wipe cache partition and use the power but to select it

Hold the power button down (it may take 30 seconds or so) and the phone will restart. The warning is "IF you've already started to download something to the phone, don't turn the phone off or you may cause a problem". Google really has to start writing less geeky messages. Just turning the phone off or restarting it when you're in the download mode won't do anything bad. (The phone may never get past that point, but that's another problem.)
