I am a longtime BB user (Canadian, eh?), but I no longer fit their marketing plan. When my Bold 9900 contract ends in June I need a durable phone with a good camera. Youthful friends advise that iPhones may be fragile. Microsoft is not forthcoming about a new Lumia.
I am also annoyed that BB has cut data compression and daily backup. Do I need an S6?

Best advice I can give you is, do some research. Go down to your local carrier and get some hands on time with several devices. Pretty much anyone here who recommends a phone, is doing so with some bias. Myself included. I'd say get the HTC One (M9). But, I am a strong believer in HTC. I was once a loyal subject in the Samsung kingdom. But alas, they became far too gimmicky for me. To each their own though. Happy research to you.

How much experience do you have using HTC (M9)?
Well, obviously I just got it. However, I had the M7 for 2 years and had 0 issues with it.. I also owned the original HTC EVO. Now HTC has come quite a long way since the EVO made it's debut. The M9 is an improvement over the M7. It has better battery life. It is sleeker, and more refined. I think HTC has the best built in music player. I am a fan of its build quality, and of course, its looks. I am sure after a few weeks I will enjoy it more than I enjoyed my M7.
